2024 Worldhopper Ball
In partnership with Paladin Creative, Dragonsteel Nexus 2024 presents the first annual Worldhopper Ball. The Stormlight Archive's very own Highprince Adolin and Brightness Shallan Davar are getting married, and you've been invited to come to their reception! No matter which world you may be coming from, this is an event you won't want to miss. You might see some familiar faces...
Event Times and Requirements
The event will have multiple sessions (times to be announced when tickets go on sale), and each session will have a cap of total attendees. All guests must be 18 years old or older.
Formal or semi-formal wear is required to attend. Cosplay from your Cosmere world of choice is absolutely encouraged!
Legal ID—as recognized by the state of Utah—is required for any guest wishing to ingest an alcoholic beverage. The legal drinking age in Utah is 21, and guests of legal age are required to obtain any desired alcoholic drinks only for themselves. For those without ID or who are adhering to the Alethi Codes of War, nonalcoholic drinks will also be available.
The Ardents who officiate have informed us that we reserve the right to remove any guest for failure to adhere to these requirements, or who display conduct unbecoming of an Alethi officer or guest.
Tickets
Starting early fall—watch future posts for a definitive timeline—tickets for the Worldhopper Ball will go on sale for $150 (not including TTE fees or applicable tax) on our convention website. Only current DSNX24 badgeholders will be able to purchase a ticket. DSNX24 badgeholders will be able to purchase one ticket per badge while supplies last. Tickets will include the following:
- Access to the 2.5-hour event during the session of your selection
- Commemorative Worldhopper Ball memorabilia
- Thematic Rosharan cuisine
- 2x beverage voucher—for mocktail redemption only (additional mocktails and cocktails available for purchase onsite)
