Nexus newsletter subscribers who subscribe prior to June 6, 2025 will receive early access information about accessing and purchasing a badge June 13, 2025. Once all badges are sold out, fans are welcome to sign up to the badge waitlist on DragonsteelNexus.com.
What is Dragonsteel doing to combat cart errors or customers missing out on buying a badge due to heavy site traffic?
This year Dragonsteel Nexus has moved to a new convention technology platform! This move will bring a better managed registration process—including early registration access, a high-traffic queue, and software with proven experience and reliability.
While badges are still only available until sold out, this platform should resolve confusion about whether badges are sold out and whether or not a purchase will go through.
What is Dragonsteel doing to combat scalpers and scammers?
While Dragonsteel cannot control or be responsible for scammers or scalpers, this year all badges must be purchased directly through the site at DragonsteelNexus.com. Badges cannot be resold or transferred to another holder. Do not make badge purchases elsewhere or through any third party. Additionally, only up to four badges may be purchased in a single transaction.
What is included in the VIP badge?
Dragonsteel is trying something new this year. Rather than setting a limited number of fans apart from the others, all attendees will have the same base badge type this year. Only the general admission badge will be available.
What is included in the general admission badge?
The general admission badge will include access to:
- Panels, special events, and interviews with community personalities and field experts
- Ticketed special guest meetups and signings (all tickets are limited in number)
- ONE convention game track (additional tracks available for separate purchase)
- The exhibitor hall with 150+ planned vendors
- Incredible fights at the Dueling Grounds
- The game room—generously sponsored by Kickstarter—with a library of over 2,000 board games provided by SaltCon
- The craft room with demos, workshops, and both free and paid crafts (suitable for attendees of all ages)
- The quiet room, provided by our partner Scenic View Academy
- Dragonsteel Nexus exclusive photo ops locations and backdrops and cosplay events
- One entry into a drawing at the Nexus prize booth
- Eligibility to be randomly assigned to a signing session with Brandon. Due to limited capacity, only a percentage of badges will receive a session assignment
- Access to pre-order merchandise for pickup at Dragonsteel Nexus—including premium merchandise previously only included with the VIP badge
Please note: A $10 fee will be charged for any lost badge replacement.
How many badges may I purchase at once?
Purchases are limited to four badges per transaction or account. To purchase badges for a larger group, please assign multiple individuals to purchase the necessary number of badges.
Something has come up and I cannot attend. What are my options?
Primary badge holders may log in and process the cancellation of any prepaid merchandise for a partial refund any time until October 1, 2025. They may completely refund and cancel all badges—other than the primary badge itself—up to November 1, 2025. After this time, no cancellations or refunds are available.
Please note: Processing fees cannot be refunded and will be deducted from any refunds.

Please open a ticket with Dragonsteel support. Dragonsteel can, at their discretion, change the primary badge on an account to allow for the previous primary badge to be cancelled and refunded.
How can I correct a misspelled name or email address for my badge?
Dragonsteel is happy to help adjust and correct small errors on badges (e.g. correcting Navn Navneson to Navn Navnesen) anytime prior to November 2025. To request a review and correction to a badge, please open a support ticket and provide the following information:
- Email address associated with the badge
- Current incorrect spelling on the badge
- Corrected spelling for the badge
As a reminder, all Dragonsteel Nexus 2025 badges are nontransferable and extensive name corrections (e.g., Max Mustermann to Otto Normalverbraucher) that may appear to be an attempt to resell or scalp a badge may not be approved.
How can I replace a lost event badge?
Replacement badges may be purchased for $10 at the registration desk. Badge holder names will not be printed on replacement badges.
