Do I have to pay sales tax or VAT?

Yes, backers are responsible for paying any sales tax or VAT charges associated with their pledge. Many US states require us to collect sales tax, and more international countries require VAT to be paid. The costs of these taxes are not included in tier reward prices, and Dragonsteel is unable to cover these costs. 

These charges will be assessed and collected when completing your pledge survey in addition to paying shipping costs. By charging VAT upfront, we are able to get lower handling fees from FedEx which should reduce the total amount charged while still ensuring a smooth delivery of rewards to international backers.
