A link to download your ebook will be available on your order details page on our store and/or in an email sent after your order is complete. When you download the eBook, please keep track of the file(s) as there is a limit to the number of download attempts our system will allow for some books.


Ebooks downloaded from Dragonsteel in EPUB form are DRM free and are not tied to any specific device or service. Most dedicated ereader devices will be able to read these books. Additionally, many free and paid programs or applications are available for using your computer, laptop, phone, or tablet devices to read these books. Below we list some options you can consider and methods to get the books on your selected device.


Ereaders


Many ereader devices are available on the market. If you have questions or difficulties transfering your book to your ereader, please contact the support for your device. You can almost always connect your ereader to your desktop or laptop computer and use your computer's file management systems to copy the EPUB file(s) to the ereader.


Calibre is a FREE, optional resource to use to assist transferring your book to your device. Highly recommended by fans, this program installs on your computer (Windows, MacOS, and Linux) and manages your local ebook library files for you. It will detect most ereaders when they are connected to your computer, and can send selected books directly to the ereader on command. As a bonus, you can also use Calibre to read your ebooks directly on your computer!


Kindle devices have additional options not available to other ereaders through the "Send to Kindle" feature. With this, you can upload personal documents (including EPUB books) to your Kindle Library. Books and other documents added with this feature will not be listed as Kindle books in your library, but will be found only in your "Personal Documents" (or "Docs") area of your library. Books and files can be uploaded through the Send to Kindle webpage, emailed to a specific device (and then accessible to all other linked devices,) or through your Android or iOS device (if you have the Kindle app installed.)


Computer/Laptop


Calibre is a FREE program available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. This program comes highly recommended. It installs on your computer and manages your local ebook library files for you. You can read ebooks directly within the program, convert them to other file formats, and easily copy them to ereader, tablet, and smart phone devices.


Google Play Books is a free option which allows you to upload your PDF or EPUB books to your online Play Books library. Once done, you can access them at any time from any internet connected web browser. As an additional benefit, you can also read them on any internet conneted tablet or phone that has the Play Books app.


On Mac, you can use the free Books app that comes pre-installed. Not only can use use it to read ebooks AND listen to audiobooks, but you can also sync those ebooks and audiobooks with your iPhone and iPad devices!


iPhone/iPad


You can download, import, and read PDF books directly to the iPhone/iPad Books app. Using the same steps, you can import and read EPUB ebooks.

Alternately, you can load your ebooks AND audiobooks on the Books app on your Macbook, and then sync the ebooks and audiobooks with your iPhone and iPad devices!


The Kindle app is a well known, free app. Using the Send to Kindle feature, you can open local EPUB files from your iPhone or iPad, email books to your kindle app, or upload them via web browser.


Google Play Books is a free option which allows you to upload your PDF or EPUB books to your online Play Books library. Once done, you can read on your local app. As an added benefit, you can read uploaded books from any device with the Play Books app, or access them at any time from any internet connected web browser.



Android Phone or Tablet


The Kindle app is a well known, free app. Using the Send to Kindle feature, you can open local EPUB files from your iPhone or iPad, email books to your kindle app, or upload them via web browser.


Google Play Books is a free option which allows you to upload your PDF or EPUB books to your online Play Books library. Once done, you can read on your local app. As an added benefit, you can read your uploaded books from any device with the Play Books app, or access them at any time from any internet connected web browser.


Moon+ Reader is another popular free app. One of the favorite features of this app is the ability to backup and sync your ebooks and reading positions between multiple android phones and tablets using dropbox or other online services. Moon+ Reader is ad-supported, and a paid Moon+ Reader Pro version is required if you want to remove ads. The pro version adds additional features, such as text-to-speech and theming, and control bar cusomization options.


ReadEra is the final app we will list here, although there are many more highly rated ebook apps available for Android. ReadEra is a simple, ad-free aebook reader that just works. A paid version is available, which includes the ability to use Google Drive to sync books and reading positions accross android devices, use your own fonts, and adds a library view to customize how you books are presented.


There are many more highly rated ebook apps and devices than those discussed here. An internet search may help you locate many great resources and step-by-step instructions for adding and reading your ebook on your selected device.
