We expect there to be two waves of fulfillment:
Wave 1—Tier fulfillment: fall of 2026
Wave 2—Add-on fulfillment: quarter one 2027
Dragonsteel’s primary method of communication with backers is by posting updates on BackerKit. Information in these updates include current fulfillment status, timelines, and upcoming plans, along with answers to common questions and concerns. Please read those updates for the most recent information available about shipping progress.
When your reward ships, you will be sent an email notification from “store@brandonsanderson.com” with a tracking number. You should also be able to find your reward tracking numbers in your backer survey. Please use that tracking number for updates or estimates on your delivery date.
Carrier Delays
If the carrier encounters delays, they will be posted on your package's tracking page. These delays are outside Dragonsteel’s ability to control, and as such we are unable to obtain updates beyond what is listed in tracking. Please contact the carrier—USPS for US domestic and FedEx for international—before contacting Dragonsteel.
If you are worried because the tracking has not updated or that your shipment is lost, this will be handled the same as with Dragonsteel’s store shipments. Please see our help article Lost or Missing Delivery if tracking shows that your package hasn’t moved or is marked as delivered and you haven't received it.
